The Accomodations
Each glamping tent at Under Canvas includes daily housekeeping, organic bath products and luxe linens.
For retreat, choose from three tent types, Safari, Deluxe or Stargazer.
Safari tents offer the possibility for triple occupancy, making this the most economical (and social!) option. Each canvas safari-style tent includes three twin beds plus a wood burning stove for warmth at night. A bathhouse with private hot showers, toilet and sinks are conveniently located close to your tent.
Deluxe Tents boasts a plush king sized bed, and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink and flushing toilet. Enjoy the night stars from your private deck and before retreating to the warmth of your wood burning stove inside.
Stargazer Tents offer all of the upscale amenities of the deluxe tent plus the addition of a viewing window above the king bed. Enjoy an ensuite bathroom, wood burning stove and private deck with lounge chairs.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Under Canvas and settle into your glorious tent!
This evening we gather for a meal and opening circle, enjoying the fall air and traditional camp feel.
During our stay together, you have access to all of the scheduled camp programming as well as our retreat exclusive offerings.
Day 2 & 3
The next two days are spent nourishing, connecting and exploring!
With the Smoky Mountains as our backdrop and nature as our playground, the days are sure to fill your soul.
Exclusive yoga classes, a seasonal workshop and a half day hiking excursion are all included in your retreat pricing.
You will also have some down time to read a book, take a walk, or explore a bit more as you please. This is a very special time of year and you are in the midst of one if the most beautiful places to experience the changing seasons.
Breakfast, a light lunch and dinner included daily, as well as tea, coffee and water. No other beverages, including alcohol, are included, but you may purchase your own as desired.
Day 4
As we prepare to depart, feeling empowered, strong and beautiful, gather for breakfast and closing circle. These past few days are sure to have filled your spirit with the magic of nature and connection.

FAQs
Is transportation included?
Transportation is not included in the package. You will be required to make your way to Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains.
Why is it important to register early?
Early registration assures that you get your room choice! It also assures that we can keep these retreats going by allowing us to plan accurately with our partners.
Are meals included?
They are! Beginning with dinner on your arrival, meals are included in your stay. Under Canvas has a wonderful restaurant, from which you will be able to choose one entree per meal at breakfast and dinner. On days 2 and 3, a light lunch are provided as well!
How hard will the hiking be?
We have a half day hike planned with a wonderful local outfitter who has been guiding in the area for over 30 years. We will be able to completely customize our hike so that we can view the maximal fall foliage colors as well as meet the needs of retreat guests. If you have an average level of fitness, you will have no problem!
Am I sleeping in a tent?
The short answer is yes, but the longer answer is this is glamping! Think safari style, luxury, comfort. If the nights are cold and you’ve booked a deluxe or stargazer category, you’ll even have your own fireplace in your room!
How cold will it be?
This is a transitional time of year, and we have strategically picked these dates for maximum viewing of the fall colors. It may get chilly in the mornings and evenings. Bring your cozy sweater and hat and gather round the campfire. This is where memories are made!
Can I choose my roommate?
Of course! When placing your deposit, simply note who you would like to share your room with.
I don’t have anyone to travel with. Can I come alone?
YES!! This is an incredible retreat for solo travelers! You are welcome to sign up solo, and if you prefer to share a room, we will happily arrange it.
